"The case of the Mondays"

It's MONDAY!  What a wonderful day of the week?!? NOT!

What are ways that you are trying to stay motivated this week?

It's so easy to fall off that band wagon thinking...."this isn't for me", but it is...it's for each and every one of you!  YOU deserve this goal...it's so hard to lose weight, much harder than putting it on and maintaining it, so, by no stretch of the imagination should you think that this is supposed to be easy; we are all working really hard here....so, what's your case?  What's keeping you motivated this week?!?!

  1. this week is for the blue team!! I don't want to fall short...so I am trying each and every day..not always easy..packed my stuff when I get home from the gym to go tomorrow...and keep pushing forward!!! Eating later in the morning has been a challenge, where as before I didn't always eat breakfast, now in the habit before work and now have to wait and fit it in at work....still keeping track of the water intake...and working out!!! keep up the good work everyone!!! Blue and Black team!

  2. Dearest Lynsey, thank you so much for putting my hubby and I on the same team. This really is a good thing. He told me I'd better not let our team down this week and that I'd better step it up a notch. And, believe me, I'm trying!!!

Also, I love going to the gym and seeing other members of this weight loss challenge working out too. It's so nice to see someone fighting the same battle as you and to know that you all want the same thing which is a healthier life. It makes my day to see these people and smile and wave to them.

Keep up the good work everyone!

  3. Rachelle...so happy that I was able to make that happen....it was luck that you both ended up on the same team...I thought if you were on opposite teams it could make it even more interesting...but it's good to have him supporting you for sure! AND....really Rachelle, he's got to be a good supporter since he's kicking everyone's butts! LOL. Maybe you can get him to join you at the gym...you know he may hit a wall this week since he has been doing so well....his body may go into shock!

  4. Lynsey, I'm so proud of him (Chris) for loosing the weight he has already. He is looking SO good! :) His family has a strong history of heart disease and the older he gets, the more I worry about his health. I hope the changes he has made so far (cutting out pop, eating more veggies and less fried foods and drinking water) will stick with him long after this challenge ends. And if I get him to the gym, that would be so amazing! I would love to have my husband join me for my workouts. Maybe you can all encourage him to work past that point of "soreness" to a healthier lifestyle.
