5K Run/Walk...April 17th....

Who's in?  Who wants to be our cheerleaders? Who has actually signed up?  Who wants to meet for some breakfast afterwards....or would lunch or dinner be better for everyone?!?!

Are there any takers for a round #3?  I know I haven't done that well keeping things up to date...but, I do know that I am still helping some people...so, let me know if your interested in round #3...and if you have any thoughts, suggestions, or ideas for it.

Hope to hear from you all...and I hope you haven't stopped believing in yourself!  Keep your chin high, keep moving more, and eating less!!! :-)

  1. I am in for the 5K...I personally am not promising anyone that I will run the whole thing! I have been slacking on my running lately, which is really sad, but I am also getting frusterated with my running. But I am in, not signed up yet, but I will do that very soon!
    Personally I LOVE to eat breakfast out, but do we really all want to go to eat all gross and sweaty from running? Just my thought, but then again I tend to be a priss sometimes. LOL!
    As for round 3...if you are up to it, I am to it also, lately I have not been very motivated, and honestly the thing that keeps me the most motivated is knowing I have to weigh in on SAturday. So I need to re-focus and get more motivated if there is a round 3...but I am game if everyone else is!

  2. I will be doing the 5K. I'm not sure how long I will be able to run. I'm not up to 3 miles yet. Running is such a horrible form of exercise if you ask me! I mean, I love what it does for my body, but it's seriously a sadistic form of torture in my opinion!

    I don't think I want to go out to eat before the 5K. I'm okay with going to lunch all stinky and gross. Especially if everyone else is going too. We can be one big stinky group! lol Or we can meet for a late lunch once everyone gets cleaned up.

    I am definitely up for round 3. I got deterred at the end of round 1 and beginning of round 2, but I feel like I'm back in the saddle and just starting to make some real progress. I think round 3 is exactly what I need to stay motivated. Knowing there's a weigh in each Saturday helps keep me on track and prevents me from falling apart (with my eating) for days at a time. I certainly have plenty more weight to loose!

  3. Round 3? How about round 5 or 6 LOL! I am up for round 3 and any other rounds you want to do. I truly appreciate all of the contributions to our Biggest Loser.

  4. I am doing the 5K as well, but I highly doubt I will be doing much running - just a fast pace walk mostly.

  5. Registration closed for the 5k run last night. I had a problem with the site not processing my FirstMerit credit/debit card, e-mailed support and they told me my bank denied it. I have money in the account, so when I called my bank they knew nothing about it. Verified I was entering all the information correctly. So I went online this morning to try again and the website says registration is closed. I'm bummed because I was really looking forward to doing my first 5k, but it's my fault for waiting until this week to register. I e-mailed their support again to see if they'll be accepting registrations the day of the race and I'm waiting to hear back. If not, I will be there and be a cheerleader for all of you.
